Mini reviews of books that don't mess with my postpartum emotions. Think overpowered protagonists, slice of life stories, & underpants jokes.
Nice, slice of life is one of my favorite genres! A lot of these seem interesting.
I just finished listening to Travis Baldree's Legends & Lattes, read excellently by the author himself (who is an experienced audiobook narrator). The story follows an orc who sets up her own coffee shop in a town where no one has even heard of coffee. It's an enjoyable and charming read. Can recommend!
P.S. I'm a fan of your Obsidian roundups. Congrats on having a baby!
